Do you see what I see? Is it hoo? or who?
Every morning you are here.
Before dawns early light,
There rages an eternal fight.
The darkness races around,
As the light chases it abound.
Do you see what I see?
Is it you’re asking me, who?
This, I do not know.
Hypersensitive to the touch.
I feel your presence.
My skin becomes electrified.
A gentle breeze crosses my face,
I smell you. I don’t have to see you,
Because I feel you.
My memory knows you,
But, I do not. I close my eyes,
Still there.
Still surprised.
Do you see what I see? 🦉
